As usual the idea began at the flea market as Chris and I walked and talked. She discovered the atlas and I immediately cried foul because that is what I had been looking for. After a very long pause she gave me the atlas and told me that whatever treasure I found next I had to give it to her. More on that later. I am an organized person. I iron my t-shirts. I dust under the bed on a regular basis. Really. My studio is always a wreck. The atlas my sister found and gracefully gave to me changed all that. For 1 week (except for going to work, cooking dinner, bathing, walking the dogs, and a few other misc items) I changed the course of my life with a studio upgrade. My DH installed a 4' x 8' sheet of slatwall in my studio. I covered each and every slat with my beloved atlas. Very easy to do but a bit time consuming. I decoupaged my worktable. I organized my paints-sort of. My rubber stamps never had it so good. Anyway I thougt that someone OUT THERE might be interested in how a walk through the flea market with your sister can change things forever. Until next time--Sharon--
